I always feel better in nature. My favourite places on earth are when I am surrounded by plants, sunlight and animals.

I love looking for the beauty in nature. Though you can argue that everything in nature is beautiful, I love looking for the little things that others might miss. The intricate shapes on leaves or the way the sunlight gets filtered through the trees.

I am someone who is arguably too much in their head, and taking my camera out for a walk helps me be more present. Because if you’re trying to take a photo of a moving object, like an animal leaping through the trees or a flower waving in the wind, there is not much room for thoughts.

Just being present.
