I have always loved the phrase, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”

There is so much you can convey through an image, whether it’s photography, art, or graphic design. A single visual can tell a story, spark curiosity, or evoke emotion.

Sometimes that feeling is simply wonder. Nature amazes me constantly. I love searching for patterns in the world around me: the structure of a leaf, the symmetry of feathers or scales, or tiny details that seem so soft and delicate you almost want to reach out and touch them.

I’m fascinated by how things grow, why nature follows certain patterns, and how observing those details helps us better understand the world around us. That curiosity is rooted in my background in environmental science, combined with a strong desire to keep exploring and understanding my environment.

But my curiosity doesn’t stop with nature, it extends to people as well. Why do we make certain choices? What shapes the patterns in our social lives? The artist in me loves to wonder; the scientist in me wants to understand.

That balance between observation, curiosity, and storytelling is what draws me to both photography and graphic design.
